The Saltare silver hoop earrings have an unusual organic natural texture. Each pair are made individually by me in my studio and each pair are unique.
The hoop is bold yet elegant with a 2.5cm diameter, making them large enough to be noticed but not too large so that they are distracting. Suitable for wearing throughout the day and into the evening.
The texture is achieved by first rolling the silver through the roller mill with textured fabric and then etching the earring with mild acids to create a surface that is deliberately uneven and organic in appearance.
