As a biologist turned mixed media/recycling artist, I create artwork and complimentary products, such as wearable art, art cards, coasters and gifts, based on my original artwork. I work only from photographs taken on my fieldwork, travels and experiences, so that every piece tells a personal story which many people resonate with.

Brought up in a ‘make do and mend’ environment, experiments with once-used materials are given new life by combining them with traditional techniques and British materials to create original pieces. Look out for recycled, textured paper marquetry and marbling or vintage dip pen and ink and watercolour inks/pencil drawings; often fused together. Wearable art is created using recycled metals and books, sometimes combined with watercolours, resin and precious metal leaf.
